  • David Weaver - Campus Minister

David grew up in Centralia, Washington, 80 miles south of Seattle and had a wonderful church home there. It was during those years through a strong youth group program that he realized the importance of a Christian community.

He graduated from MSSU in 1989 with a degree in Accounting and General Business. David met his wife Laura while attending Ozark Christian College where I received my Bachelors in Christian Education in 1989. They have four wonderful children, Brandon, Michael, Rachel and Joshua. David went on to complete my MBA in Accounting in 2005 and my Master of Arts in Communication in 2013.

“I became Campus Minister with Koinonia in July 1989 and God has blessed my family in so many ways through this ministry and through the many students we have been fortunate to meet and grow with over the years.”

  • Cooper Allmoslecher-Men's Campus Minister

Cooper grew up in Missouri, but has lived in Southern California, and New Hampshire, before moving back to Missouri.

Cooper has five siblings, an amazing mom and dad, Tony and Minette, and is married to Koinonia’s Women’s Minister, Megan.

Cooper Graduated Ozark Christian College in 2021 with a bachelor’s in Christian Ministry, and moved out to New Hampshire for a residency at a church out there that same month, which is where he met Megan. Cooper is currently pursuing his Master’s in Theology as well.

Cooper loves to play and watch sports, (especially basketball), reading both fiction and non-fiction, learning how to blacksmith, and playing video games with brothers & friends! If he is not in Missouri then he is at the beach trying to live out his dream of surfing for a living!

“I love getting to serve in college age ministry because that was the time in my life when the Holy Spirit’s work in changing my life to follow Jesus and be His apprentice began.”

  • Megan Allmoslecher-Women's Campus Minister

Megan, a native New Englander turned Midwesterner, has a huge heart for college students, especially college women. Having little background in the faith, a friend shared the gospel with Megan at 19 years old, which then changed the trajectory of her life when she gave her life to Christ at 20.

Megan met her husband, Cooper, at their church in Manchester, New Hampshire, before moving back to the Midwest with him. Megan is a registered nurse, and also owns a personal training and nutrition coaching business, Graceful Gains, where she is able to come alongside women to help them better their health.

In her freetime, you’ll find her cooking, hosting, and talking to anyone and everyone. Oh, and maybe at the gym as well! She also loves to hike mountains and surf, so she is still figuring that out now that she is in the Midwest!

“I have the unique perspective of doing my teenage years a part from God, and my young adult years with Him. I love working with college students because, I get it! I can relate well to what they are walking through. I am so thankful God gave me the story He did so that I can walk alongside college students as they explore their own relationship with Christ, at any level.”
